Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners

The City of Glen Eira acknowledges the Boonwurrung/Bunurong and the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation as Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we work, play, live, learn and tell stories.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge and uphold their continuing relationship to land, waterways, culture and community. 

We recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are Australia's first and most enduring storytellers, artists, communities and creators of culture.
