What happens when teenagers take over the Council? A playful, thought-provoking performance about leadership, community and youthful rebellion.
Under New Management is a reimagining of local government, as led by a group of local teenagers. Taking over a Glen Eira City Council extraordinary meeting with playfulness and curiosity, local teenagers explore what leadership, community, and problem-solving look like without adult intervention. Decisions must be made, the community must be served, and due process will not be adhered to. Blurring the lines between theatre, civic engagement, and youthful rebellion, Under New Management invites audiences to participate in, and bear witness to the leadership of the next generation.
