Acclaimed actor, writer and author Stephen Hall takes the stage for a one-night-only performance of his seventh Melbourne International Comedy Festival show, For the Term of His Natural Lies. 

In this totally unique one-man show, Hall has re-edited and re-voiced 15 vintage films to create a hilarious standalone comedy feature — complete with live elements performed on stage.

Stephen Hall

Stephen Hall is an acclaimed Australian actor, writer and author, best known for playing dozens of characters across 15 seasons of Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell.

His TV writing credits range from Full Frontal, Backberner, and Russell Gilbert Was Here to the TV Week Logie Awards. He has written three books, including a comedy sci-fi novel, and is a sought after voice in the world of TV comedy animation.

On stage, he played Sir Lancelot in the Australian debut season of Monty Python’s Spamalot, and in 2016, John Cleese handpicked Stephen to play Basil Fawlty in the Australian national tour of Fawlty Towers: The Play
